Bulldogs at 45: Riley McCourt

The Hamilton Bulldogs selected mobile defender Riley McCourt of the Niagara North Stars (OMHA) with their first pick in the third round (45). Daryl Woodley (OHL Central Scouting) describes him as a player who can log tons of minutes, who doesn’t make many mistakes and isn’t not too flashy. He’s a puck moving defenseman who “takes care of his own end who anchored their back end”. Sounds like a player who can model his game after Ben Gleason.
